Airflow openings
Long vertical openings on both sides ventilate the space around the nursery pot.

They allow air to circulate around the inner pot, help excess moisture evaporate, reduce trapped humidity and may help reduce the risk of root rot when combined with a suitable substrate and proper watering.

Solid sides
A clean, seamless outer wall without ventilation openings. This option is ideal if you prefer a simple, uninterrupted appearance.

Flat base
The nursery pot rests directly on the solid bottom of the outer planter. This is the more compact version, with no raised space or water reservoir underneath the inner pot.

Raised base with self-watering reservoir
Integrated supports raise the nursery pot by 2.5 cm / 0.98 in. The outer planter is also 2.5 cm / 0.98 in taller, creating a water reservoir beneath the inner pot.

This version is designed for use with a wick or rope self-watering system. Thread a suitable absorbent wick through a drainage opening in the nursery pot, leaving one end in the substrate and the other end inside the water reservoir.

The wick gradually draws water upward into the substrate through capillary action, allowing the plant to absorb moisture as needed.

Keep the bottom of the nursery pot above the water level so that the roots are not permanently submerged. Check the reservoir regularly and adjust the wick and watering frequency according to your plant, substrate and growing conditions.

A suitable wick or rope is required for the self-watering function and is not included.

The exterior dimensions of the decorative planter are slightly larger. The raised-base version is 2.5 cm / 0.98 in taller than the corresponding flat-base version.
